NMRiH2 Loadout Guide: Roles and Extraction

此内容尚不支持你的语言。

There is no single best NMRiH2 loadout for every match. Build the best loadout for your squad by covering one clear role, keeping capacity for objectives and recovery, and accepting the real slot cost of any protection item. Give each item a reason to be there.

What makes a good loadout?

Use this quick decision table before treating any named item as an automatic pick.

Check first A good answer Avoid
What does the squad lack? Take responsibility for one clear job: close defense, support, objective utility, or longer sight lines. Copying a teammate’s niche plan without a team reason.
What must fit later in the run? Preserve flexible space for found supplies, recovery, and task items. Filling every slot before the deployment begins.
Does protection fit the role? Consider Rescue Beacon only when the remaining loadout still performs the squad job. Treating a consumable slot item as free safety.

Cover one clear squad job

  • Can you handle an unexpected close-range encounter?
  • Do you have enough supplies to contribute without overloading your inventory?
  • Does the team already cover the same utility?
  • Will losing this setup hurt more than it helps this run?

Build for adaptation

Keep one part of your plan flexible. The map, squad size, and loot you find should be allowed to change your decisions. A loadout is a starting point, not a promise to ignore better tools on the route.

Armageddon 1.0 progression

Version 1.0 added Merits, earned through weekly Assignments, alongside Credits. It also introduced the Rescue Beacon: a high-end loadout item that can be bought with Credits or Merits and prevents the next loss a Responder would receive where permadeath is enabled. It occupies a loadout slot and is consumable, so treat it as protection with a real tradeoff rather than a permanent safety net. Official 1.0 notes

Loadout budget

Give every slot one purpose. If you cannot say when an item is used, keep the slot flexible.

Template Starting priority Tradeoff to accept
Learning run Simple weapon handling, room for found supplies, no dependence on a rare plan. Lower short-term specialization.
Team support A clear close-defense answer plus room for medical or task utility. Do not duplicate a teammate’s expensive kit without a reason.
High-risk Responder A plan that still works when supplies are scarce; consider Rescue Beacon only if its slot cost fits the role. Rescue Beacon is consumable and replaces another loadout option.

Weekly Assignments can grant Credits and Merits; three assignments grant one Merit each and the weekly overarching goal grants three. Use that progression as a reason to set a sustainable role, not to take equipment you cannot replace. Official 1.0 notes

Build from the deployment backward

Start with the next failure you can prevent

Do not begin by asking for the strongest named kit. Start with the failure that would end this specific run: a player unable to handle close pressure, no room for a task item, no recovery supplies, or no one available to cover an interaction. Give the first loadout slot to that problem, then leave the remaining space flexible.

The result should be understandable in one sentence: “I cover close pressure and carry task space,” or “I am the flexible support player and keep recovery room.” If you cannot state the job, the kit is probably duplicating another player or carrying a speculative upgrade.

Spend loadout space where the run can failStart with the squad’s immediate gap, then protect capacity for objectives and recovery before optional upgrades.
  1. Combat answerKeep a dependable response to the pressure the team expects.
  2. Task capacityLeave room for objective items instead of a speculative second tool.
  3. Recovery spacePreserve capacity for medicine, ammunition, or a teammate’s urgent need.
  4. Responder riskWeigh protection such as Rescue Beacon against the slot it consumes.
Squad need Loadout principle Replace it when…
Learning a map Favor familiar handling and spare inventory space. The team already has a stable role plan and you have tested an alternative.
Carrying objectives Keep a reliable defense tool but protect capacity first. A found item directly supports the current task.
Supporting an infected or injured player Avoid over-specializing; keep the route and support options open. The treatment or extraction decision is settled.
Protecting a valuable Responder Weigh the Rescue Beacon’s protection against its consumed loadout slot. The slot cost undermines the job you need to perform.

Adapt after the first useful find

A loadout is not a contract to ignore the deployment. When the squad finds a compatible weapon, treatment item, or objective tool, pause briefly and reassign inventory space. Say what changed, who carries it, and which other item is now less important. This is more reliable than silently accumulating gear until nobody can carry the next required item.

For weapon choices, use the Weapons and Ammo Guide and verify actual attachment slots with the Weapon Attachments Guide rather than copying a named build.

Rescue Beacon decision boundary

Armageddon 1.0 presents the Rescue Beacon as a consumable high-end loadout item: it occupies a loadout slot and prevents the next loss a Responder would receive where permadeath is enabled. It can be bought with Credits or Merits. This makes it a protection choice, not an extra item with no cost. Official 1.0 notes

Take it only when the squad role still works after losing the slot. A player who cannot carry the objective, treatment, or ammunition the team needs may be less resilient even with loss protection available.

Common mistakes

Locking into a loadout before the mode is known

Objective and Survival ask for different short-term priorities. Read the mode and make a role call first; use Objective and Survival Maps to establish the match loop.

Duplicating expensive utility without a team reason

Two players carrying the same niche plan can leave no one able to handle recovery or task inventory. Compare jobs before deploying, not after the first crisis.

Treating progression as a reason to gamble

Assignments and Merits reward continued play, but they do not make an unstable route safe. Preserve a Responder when the squad has no clear path to final extraction.
