NMRiH2 Weapons and Ammo Guide

此内容尚不支持你的语言。

The best weapon is the one that your squad can keep supplied, handle safely in close quarters, and use without abandoning the objective.

Choose for the job

Cover close and open space

Think in roles rather than a single “best” weapon. A dependable loadout covers a close-range answer, a practical option for open space, and enough ammunition for the route you expect to take. Let teammates fill different roles where possible.

What to check before keeping a weapon

  • Available ammunition and how much space it costs.
  • How controllable it feels during a pressured encounter.
  • Whether it supports the attachments your plan needs.
  • Whether a teammate can use its ammunition or benefits from the same supply.

Ammunition discipline

Do not reload out of habit. Communicate when you are low, reload in a protected position, and avoid turning every isolated enemy into a loud problem for the squad.

Version 1.0 changes to know

Official 1.0 notes state that firearms can spawn with varying amounts of ammunition based on difficulty. The same update rebalanced many melee options, so older weapon-tier recommendations should be treated as historical rather than current advice. Read the official notes.

Build a weapon plan, not a tier list

Role Keep Check before committing
Close defense A weapon you can deploy safely in tight space. Can teammates cover its reload and can you still move through the route?
Generalist A dependable firearm plus enough compatible ammunition. Is it loaded, and can another squadmate share the same supply?
Objective support Space for medical items and carry objectives, not a second speculative gun. Does the weapon leave inventory and attention for the task?

Reload rule: call the reload, step into cover, and finish it before the next push. Sprinting interrupts firearm reloads in 1.0. Firearms can also spawn with different ammunition amounts by difficulty, so inspect every pickup instead of assuming a weapon is ready. Official 1.0 notes

Melee under pressure

Use melee to make room, not to prove a weapon is “best.” The 1.0 balance pass changed attack timing and many individual weapons; test a new tool in the Tutorial or Solo Mode before risking a live Responder. When a fight is no longer controlled, break contact with the squad rather than trading damage alone.

A repeatable weapon workflow

Inspect before you commit

Every pickup should answer four questions: is it loaded, what ammunition does it need, where will it be used, and what must be left behind to carry it? Armageddon 1.0 says firearms can spawn with ammunition amounts that vary by difficulty, so a weapon-shaped pickup is not proof that it is ready for the next encounter. Official 1.0 notes

Then explain the change to the squad: “I am taking this; I need this ammunition; I am keeping room for the task item.” That gives teammates a chance to share compatible supplies or tell you that the team already has the same role covered.

Make every weapon pickup a team workflowA firearm is useful only when its role, ammunition, and cover needs fit the next task.
  1. Name the roleChoose close defense, general coverage, or objective support.
  2. Inspect itCheck its ammunition, readiness, and the inventory space it costs.
  3. Share the planTell teammates what ammunition or cover you will need.
  4. Push with coverAnnounce reloads and protect the next interaction together.

Keep the weapon tied to a route decision

Weapons are not just damage choices. A compact, controllable option may be easier to manage when the team expects tight entries; a longer-range option may be useful when a teammate can protect its reload window. This guide intentionally does not rank named weapons, publish damage values, or promise recoil breakpoints: those claims need current, independently verified testing.

Moment Best question Safe default
Before a push What range and angle does the next section create? Keep one player ready for close pressure.
On finding ammunition Who can use it now and who is closest to empty? Share by immediate squad need, not ownership.
Before an interaction Who covers while the interactor cannot react? Assign a reload/cover order first.
After a loud fight Is the group ready to continue or should it reset? Count people and supplies before advancing.

Make ammunition a team resource

Reserve weapon changes for moments when the team can inspect, sort, and communicate without danger. Reload from cover, announce it, and let another player hold the immediate threat. Sprinting interrupts firearm reloads in 1.0, which makes “reload while moving away” an unreliable plan. Official 1.0 notes

If a firearm needs attachments, compare its actual slots with the live attachment inventory before spending time reorganizing it. The Weapon Attachments Guide covers confirmed slot categories and a conservative fitting process.

Common mistakes

Chasing a tier list

Older recommendations may predate the 1.0 melee rebalance or difficulty-based ammunition spawns. Choose gear that supports the current route and squad instead of abandoning useful supplies for an unverified “best” pickup.

Carrying two jobs with no inventory left

A second weapon is only useful if it solves a clear role gap. If it displaces medicine, ammunition, or an objective item, keep the flexible inventory space instead.

Reloading as a private action

Silent reloads make teammates assume you can cover them. Call the reload, move into a protected position, and resume only after the group is ready.
